Deena Weisberg
Deena Weisberg is a research professor at the University of Pennsylvania, where she studies how young children learn and develop. She earned her B.S. from Stanford University and her Ph.D. in psychology from Yale University.
After spending the first 28 years of her life as an earthbound bookworm, Deena discovered the joy of aerials at an introductory workshop at the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts. The first trick she ever learned was how to slide down a rope upside down, and the rest is history.
When she’s not at the lab or in the air, Deena enjoys cooking fine vegetarian cuisine, birdwatching, and honing her trademark sarcastic wit.
