Half-life (2012)
Circus-theater meets science fiction– eight women on trapeze survive the end of the world. Inspired by mechanical systems, survivalist propaganda, and the animal kingdom, Half-life is an intricate exploration of utopian visions, strategies for surviving the apocalypse, the organic vs. the robotic, time, and decay. Tangle showcases its narrative, collaborative style and builds and breaks connections between the ground and the air. Half-life premiered at the Performance Garage and the Funicular Station in 2012.
